You have started a new job and are excited for the new journey.

Everything seemed perfect.

The supervisor is showing you everything about the business.

Your colleagues are telling you that you will be fine at your new work.

However, you are not getting the gist of the business because it is all new for you.

That does not go well with the supervisors or with the owners.

They then try to give you the round around about when you are going to work.

They never tell you that they did not put you on the schedule.

They have already “decided” that you can’t get the business.

So they give you “meaningless” task that is very hard to do.

They are hoping that you will get tired of the meaningless task and will quit.

Or are they?

If you are caught in that situation, my advice to you is to don’t give up.

Keep your head up high and do the meaningless task even if you don’t feel like it.

Because in reality, they are testing you to find out if you are the right fit for their culture.

If you persevere, they will see that you are willing to learn the business and will do everything that they can to help you succeed.

And when you do persevere at the job, learn as much as you can.
